The BLT Board of Directors has announced the following shows and dates for the 2011-2012 season:

Is He Dead? Adapted by David Ives, based on the play by Mark Twain (Comedy), May 11-13, 15-19, 2012

The Butler Little Theatre brought to a close its 70th season on Saturday night (June 11, 2011) with its annual business meeting and social. The Board of Directors, members and volunteers gathered at Haser's on Main Street to review the organization's financial and membership status, listen to committee reports, and fill vacant seats on the Board.

The event was a celebration of the 2010-2011 season and the five shows that were staged, including The Kitchen Witches; Greetings!; All My Sons; Moonlight and Magnolias; and Fools. Volunteers were honored with certificates of recognition and appreciation awards for their participation in the season including Phillip Ball, Art Black, Casey Bowser, Bob Craig, Tessa Flannery, Keith Osborne, Jana Semler, Jud Michael Stewart, and Katy Wayne. Activities on the agenda included the election of Marge Bankert, Bonnie Cahill, Sue Collar, Stefan Lingenfelter, Marsha Seybert, and Sue Switzer to the BLT Board of Directors. The highlight of the evening was the naming of Becky Plymale and Dave Deal to Life Member. Dave's posthumous award was accepted by longtime friend and collaborator Shirley Ann Minehart.

Synopses of the shows planned for 2011-2012 were read. Advance scripts are available to read in the reference section of the Butler Public Library.
